About Garth Vickers
Meet Garth
Garth Vickers is the Chairman & CEO of Kindah Enterprises, a global real estate and hospitality development company, and Kindah Capital Group, the firm’s private equity real estate and capital markets division focused on institutional-grade hospitality and mixed-use development across the United States, Caribbean, and emerging international markets.
With more than two decades of experience across hospitality operations, real estate development, and private capital management, Garth has built a track record of identifying, structuring, and executing high-conviction investments across multiple asset classes and global markets.
Where It Started
Raised in Jamaica, Garth developed an early understanding of value, discipline, and ownership. His career began in hospitality, working with globally recognized brands including Marriott International, SuperClubs Resorts, and Landry’s Hospitality Group, building deep operational expertise across large-scale resort management across the United States and Caribbean.
That foundation shaped his ability to understand both operations and investment performance, a perspective that continues to define how he structures and executes developments today.
He later returned to Jamaica as Managing Director of a beachfront boutique resort in Negril, where he led operations, team development, and property enhancements that earned the resort Top 10 boutique hotel recognition on TripAdvisor, with its restaurant ranked #1 for three consecutive years.
Building Capital & Strategy
In parallel, Garth founded Vickers Financial Group, building it into a capital management practice overseeing more than $100M in client assets. His approach to capital management has always been rooted in the same principle that defines Kindah’s development strategy: deploy with discipline, protect principal, and build for long-term performance.
Over the course of his career, Garth and his team have executed more than 25 real estate and business ventures across the United States, Caribbean, and Mexico, spanning multifamily acquisitions, short-term rental portfolios, and operating businesses. In 2015, the team developed the first University for Kids childcare center in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC — delivering 25%+ returns to investors within 18 months. Three additional locations followed. All four centers now operate at full enrollment, generating over $12 million in combined annual revenue.
Scaling Real Assets
Garth’s transition into full-scale institutional development was a natural progression, combining two decades of capital strategy and hospitality operations experience into large-scale, income-producing real assets.
In 2021, he acquired the property that would become High Life Resort & Spa in Negril, Jamaica. Under his leadership, the asset has been developed from a boutique property into the foundation of a $260M institutional resort development, comprising 265 luxury hotel rooms and 24 private villas across 30 acres of active development on a 53-acre estate. Construction period 2026–2028. Target opening 2029.
Selected operator and project management partners include Highgate Hotels and Hill International.
Today
Through Kindah Enterprises and its capital markets division Kindah Capital Group, Garth is executing the firm’s most ambitious development to date, High Life Resort & Spa, while building Kindah’s pipeline across the United States and United Arab Emirates.
His approach is defined by operational discipline, capital efficiency, and a conviction that enduring value is built through precision execution, not just strategy. Every development Kindah undertakes is designed to deliver consistent returns for investors and lasting impact for the communities it serves.
